Clarity from the outset
Agree the scope, exclusions and responsibilities before work begins. A clear brief gives everyone a shared reference when decisions or changes are needed.
About Claire Construction
Claire Construction is a family-led business working across residential, commercial and council property needs. We bring together construction, refurbishment and ongoing care with a straightforward focus: understand the brief, respect the property and pay attention to the finish. Our approach is informed by 30 years of industry experience.

Our approach
Clear communication matters as much as the finished work. We take time to understand what needs doing, how your space is used and what a good result looks like for you.
A family-led business
Whether the brief is for a home, a workplace or a managed property, a good working relationship starts with straightforward conversations.
Agree the scope, exclusions and responsibilities before work begins. A clear brief gives everyone a shared reference when decisions or changes are needed.
Discuss working hours, access, protection of surrounding areas and how residents or staff will be kept informed. For occupied properties, agree any additional resident-care requirements before work starts.
Agree the required finish and how it will be reviewed. Handover should make clear what is complete, what remains outstanding and which documents or care information are required.
From conversation to completion
The arrangements for each stage are agreed for your project, its scale and the people using the property.
Start with the property, the required work and your priorities. Discuss its condition, access, occupancy and any drawings or specification so that the brief reflects how the building is used.
Before work starts, agree what is included, what is excluded, the proposed programme and who is responsible for each element. Identify any approvals, specialist input and documentation required for the work.
Agree a point of contact and how progress updates will be shared. Plan access and disruption around building users, and discuss changes to scope, cost or timing before the affected work proceeds.
Review the work against the agreed scope. Record any outstanding items and agree next steps, including relevant handover information, care guidance and any project-specific documents.
